TamStar is a St. Augustinegrass released by Texas A&M University that delivers on its promise to be drought resistant. TamStar St. Augustine was bred to be utilized in the Southern United States and has some characteristics that make it suitable for that area. It has gray leaf spot tolerance, drought resistance, chinch bug resistance, and has an early spring green up as well.
